Pezenas market is the best weekly French market to visit in the Languedoc region of Southern France. Pezenas market is held every Saturday and takes over the whole Pezenas town centre and offers a great range of regional Languedoc food, clothing, flowers, and general nic-nacs. Pezenas has also developed a successful Organic Farmers Market held every Saturday as well.
Pezenas is a beautiful historic town with cobbled streets, stunning 16th and 17th century French mansion houses, a good selection of restaurants and a fabulous weekly market. One of the best parts of Pezenas is the old town. The narrow streets have been brilliantly preserved. Today you will still find small artisans working away and bijou restaurants tucked away in courtyards and alleys.

Restored to its original glory, the mills and sails, open to the 13 winds, stand at an altitude of 417m and offer a breathtaking panorama: a 360° orientation table carved into the stone shows the shoreline and the sea to the south, then the mountains from the Cévennes to the Pyrenees, and the Lozère and Aveyron mountains to the north. The Faugères mills (grain mills) date back to the 16th century.
Easy to park and lovely walks in and around the windmill.

The farm of Mas Rolland is a local farm with goats to visit.
Every day from mid-February to the end of October, from 4.30pm to 6.30pm (7pm July/August), You can visit the farm, meet the goats and watch them being milked. Every day, the raw milk iis transformed nto traditional cheese: Pélardon (PDO), as well as as ashy cheeses, logs, bricks, palets, tomes, etc. You can discover how we work and taste our products, which have won numerous awards and prizes.
The goats in the heart of nature. It's in these hills that 100 Alpine chamois goats graze every day of the year, producing high-quality, balanced, tasty milk. After each milking, the raw milk is curdled in basins, then ladled into draining tuns. The fresh cheeses are then salted and matured on site in the cheese dairy.
